1. Why did you choose China to study:
I chose China to learn martial arts, because it’s more authenic. To learn more about Chinese culture and to experience a more local living experience surounded by the mountains in a small town on the countryside. What motivite me is for kungfu: a stronger body and mind. To see how I perform on a stricter schedule routine.
2. My greatest gain: I strugggle a lot with the wingchun forms because I lack the strength and mobility in my shoulders and hips, So the gain is that I am now more aware of that issue and I want to gain more flexibility and strength. I gain more willpower to train and exercise, I gained more respect for others practising long term kungfu.
3.Who influenced and helped you?Jeremy, Ryan, Efran, coach Emil all helped me a lot with Taichi, forms and stances. For mental support Neilla and Lila.
4.A brief summary of your experience : I loved the healthy food. The translators Jolie and Flora are super kind and easy to be around. The training is challenging but rewardingsa at the same time, There’s a good balance between rest and working out. I loved the surroundings especiallly when training at the temple on Friday afternoon. I’ve met the greatest people during my 4 weeks of training at the academy.
5.What do you think about the surroundings of the academy, the mountains, the lakes, the air and Yantai city? Beautiful, clean and fresh air. Thank you for trainning me.

Why did I choose China to study ?
I chose China to study Kungfu because I wanted to immerse myself in a new culture and experience the authentic environment where this ancient martial art originated. The opportunity to learn Kungfu in its birthplace provided a unique and enriching experience that cannot be replicated elsewhere.
What motivated me?
I was motivated by a desire to challenge myself personally and to break free from feeling stuck in life. The rigorous training and discipline of Kungfu offered a way to overcome personal barriers, build confidence, and gain a deeper understanding of both the martial art and myself.
What is your greatest gain :My greatest gain from my martial arts training has been developing perseverance, focus, and a strong work ethic. Through the rigorous training and disciplined environment, I have learned to push through challenges, maintain concentration on my goals, and consistently put in the effort required to achieve them. These qualities have not only improved my martial arts skills but have also positively impacted other areas of my life.
Who influenced in the academy?I was greatly influenced and helped by the teachers and classmates at the academy. The supportive and nurturing environment made the school feel like home. The teachers provided invaluable guidance and encouragement, while my classmates offered camaraderie and motivation, making my training experience both enriching and fulfilling.
Brief summary of my experience in the academy:My experience at the Shaolin Martial Arts Academy was incredibly fulfilling and well-balanced. The schedule was perfect, combining intense training sessions with adequate rest periods. I enjoyed socializing with my peers during breaks or reading books to unwind.
The teachers were passionate and encouraging, always pushing us to reach our potential. Despite any initial concerns about language barriers, the translators worked tirelessly to ensure we fully understood the teachings, making the experience seamless and enriching.
What do you think about the surroundings of the academy?
Being in such a beautiful environment surrounded by mountains and lush nature was a true pleasure. The serene landscape added to the overall experience, providing a peaceful backdrop for training and relaxation. Additionally, the location is super comfortable for travel, with easy access to trains, buses, and airplanes, making it convenient to explore or return home as needed.
