                     Wing Chun Ba zhan Dao is translated to English as the “eight chopping knives technique”. It is one of useful and powerful weapon of Wingstun.The technique is in every way different from the other “butterfly knives technique”. The reason these advanced knives form is called the “eight chopping knives technique” , that the weapons are really choppers as they are able to chop. The eight sections of the form and the eight methods that are used are able to utilize the weapon.

Wing Chun Ba zhan Dao footwork is also very different with the main area of development being the wrists and even the forearm which is able to increase the flexibility and strength plus the power.
