 What is your motivation to China ? 

 1. At first my boyfriend Nino invited me to accompany him at his kungfu adventure in China kunyu Mountain. I did not know anything about martial arts bit I was excited to try something new. 

Benefits: 

2. Kungfu Academy is a school where you can learn as much as you are willing to learn. The masters are amazing and there is always something to learn about and from them. The school itself has a lot of life and my greatest gain was to be able to watch my grow little by little every week in something I never pictured myself training. 

Influence:

3. Definitely the best influence I had at school was Nino since he convinced me to come, he helped me to understand what I learnt and the way they trained, taught me something I could not do myself too.

Masters:

I was also in master Zhang group and I can say that he is an amazing teacher and master, he was always in the will to help me and show me step by step the things I had to learn and I felt very understood and taught by him, I felt so lucky to have a master like him. 

The surroundings

4. Everybody is really nice, since I arrived I felt welcomed, the translators always helped me when I needed, training was very challenging which for me it was amazing because I were always pushing myself, masters are aware of what was happening and helping too. 

Daily life also felt fulfilling, having an beautiful surrounding and great friends and fellows to share it with, makes it much better.

Seven month kung fu training in China Kunyu academy

   What is your motivation to China ? 

1. I chose China because the schools where I come from are not comprehensive and China is the origin of martial arts. I also really love Chinese culture and wanted to experience it first hand. 

 Benefits:

 2. I gained so many things from my time here I couldn’t list one as the greatest. I grew socially and made so many precious friends. I grew mentally and feel much more stable and solid within myself. And I grew physically. I’ve never been this fit or strong in my whole life and I’m deeply grateful for it. 

 Masters: 

3. All the students influenced and helped me during my time here. They inspired me and helped me to push myself. But shifu Guo and coach Emil were the ones who impacted me the most and I will be forever grateful to them and will never forget them and what they have given me.

 4. The academy is not easy conditions for what a westerner is used to and I found it to be inline with what I was hoping to get out of my stay here. I wanted to be pushed and challenged and that’s what I got from the training down to the living conditions and the food. Shifu Guo’s training is perfect and I learned so much and grew so much from everything he had us do and everything he taught us. He is a true master. It was the best experience of my life. I will miss it and I will miss him. The other masters and the translators were all wonderful and kind and inspiring and also so much fun to be around. 

 The surroundings

5. I loved being here in China. It was a deep blessing. The surroundings were so lovely and I would go for walks just so that I could take in all the beauty. The culture here is a treasure and I will truly miss it. 

All the wonderful people selling goods on the street. So friendly and happy. It brought me so much joy. I only travelled to Yantai a couple of times but it is a beautiful city. I wish I had had more time to explore. Thank you for everything and an especial thank you to master Guo. I will never forget this experience.
