1.Why did you choose China to study Kungfu?

Story goes back to the year 2015 when I was living six months in Beijing, China as an exchange student. Then I got the idea that I want to try Kungfu in China someday. In 2024 I decided it is the time to reach that goal. For me the main motivation was to put myself in mental and physical challenge to see how I survive, and as well take a break for regular life to think about it.

2.The Greatest gain from your martial arts training :

From the martial arts training it was the overcoming the challenge of learning something completely new ,and maintain the determination and discipline needed. Then it was about improving my physical capabilities also.

3.Who influenced and helped you during your period on the academy?

Very much from the beginning the information and help was well available. After arriving to the school special thanks go for following people:

Translator Jolie who showed me around and was a great help around. Amir who is a monitor student at WingChun group, who helped me a lot to get started with practice basics. The coach and the Master of Wingchun group who shared their expertise and help to push the extra mile needed. Outside the special thanks, I also got a help from fellow students on different day-to-day questions.

4.A brief summary of your experience?

As said before, the school staff were all helpful whenever needed. Daily schedules and routines were well planned and maintained which also made it easy to adapt. School facilities were pretty much what I expected it to be, so nothing special to say on those either. Overall I did enjoy my experience.

5. Surroundings of the academy

I only stayed at the school area / village so don’t know much about else. I like the place as its far away from busy city life which brings the nature close and calms the environment. The air quality is nice, a bit hot in my taste in July though, but especially after a rain lovely fresh to breathe outside Thank you for training me.
